I know that you shouldn't judge the book by its cover... but the cover is the reason why I read it! It somehow caught my attention and I knew that the book *must* be great - and it was!

I didn't realise that it's a part of the series, I think that my understanding of the plot would be better, if I would have read the previous parts (which I intent to do now), but the book fits also as a standalone.

"Sara! Remember! Victoria and Albert!" last word of Matthew to Sara. In panic she drives to his home, just to find a mess and a brutally murdered body. Now she needs to find out who murdered her husband.

Cody is hunted by his past and fear of clowns. I have to say that the fear is definitely spread to the reader! Luckily, he has Sara who won't stop before she finds the killer.

The book is intense and disturbing, makes you feel uncomfortable, and at the same time you don't want to stop reading. I loved it and I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
