The staircase lures you into the story with an ominous feel! Great cover photo, but I feel that maybe different colour/tone to get a sense that a family would be lured into this uber-modern home - it's almost too cold. The plot description makes me want to read on to find out about this family's history, and their not-so-perfect home. As the sister Bella has not spoken since that day, this gives a deeper sense of the trauma and the background, and makes it much more interesting.
