My first impression of the cover is that it looks like the book is going to be dark and mysterious. This is confined by the first page. I’m intrigued to know where that will come in to the book, and who it is.
I like all of the characters so far, but I’m suspicious of Ethan. Sofia seems lovely, and my heart is breaking for Nikki at the loss of her little girl.
