Wow. Well, this is James Carol at his absolute best. A story that draws you in after reading the first few paragraphs. What can I say? I became a huge fan of his after reading The Killing Game. The prologue alone is enough to make you want to carry on reading, and then this is further piqued when we are introduced to the house. I really am excited to read this.
