based on the first impression section and the cover I am both intrigued and also bit put off. I would love to say that everything about this has drawn me in but I must say that there is something quite generic or bland about the cover and the text doesn't particularly spike my interest in the novel. I do believe however that this may be because we only get a chapter to get into the book but having read some James carol books before, I know it takes a while but is well worth it in the end such as broken dolls.
