I usually love a good mystery/thriller novel around this time of year. And the synopsis for this one drew me in . But, after checking out the first look I just felt that, for me, something was missing. It wasn’t giving me that gripping feeling that I usually get from thrillers. I can always tell within the first chapter or two of a new book if it’s for me, and sadly this one isn’t. Also, the cover could be better in my opinion.
