I'm honestly not sure about this one. It seems to fall between genres and from the First Impression you only get the set up to the book and no indication of the way things are going. There is a definite HAL feel to Alice and so a distinct Sci-Fi flavour. Then you the psychological angle with Bella's Hysterical Muteism and the general emotional fallout from the loss of Grace.
Sadly, not enough in the First Impression for me to really decide if this is a good book for me - one of those that I reckon I would need to get about a third of the way through before I decided if it was good or not.
