From the very beginning, I knew this would be an interesting read, and I wasn’t wrong! I don’t usually try to predict twists or endings as I’m usually wrong and I liked to be surprised... but I was so wrong!
I thought the character development was fantastic, and the ending was amazing, far better than my expectations. The plot was slowly built and it worked really well with the style of writing. I especially loved the variation in viewpoints which helped to build a rounded narrative.
The use of Artificial Intelligence was written in a way that didn’t intimidate me as a reader (I don’t usually like sci fi and robotics in books normally puts me off). It was very clever, and I will definitely be seeking more reads from this author!
