I was looking for a quick and easy, entertaining thriller, while on holiday and this certainly hit the spot. Albeit in a - this may have been better as a Netflix film - kind of way, if you know what I mean?! I read it in a day and can only imagine it being read in that way as it is quite fast paced and action packed. The characters are relateable enough in a 'oh yeh maybe I would live like this if I was also rich' way, but relatively shallow even though their family tragedy is just awful. I did hope for a conclusion or development in regards to the young twin who had stopped talking...but did not see that resolved. I found the ending predictable, but that's probably because I'm a fan of sci-fi thriller films! and could see it coming - but must say overall, does what it says on the tin.
