Told from different perspectives, 17 Church Road mainly follows the life of Nikki and Ethan Rhodes and their daughter Bella. After suffering the tragic loss of their daughter Grace, they have moved to a new state of the art home for what they hope is a fresh start. Ethan eager to try somewhere new, whereas Nikki is more reluctant to move away due to the memories held at their current home relating to Grace. This new house takes some getting used to, especially for Nikki, in some ways has it’s advantages but not all of them good. Will it be their forever home?
From the beginning I found this book to be a slow burner, and not really what I expected. Then there came a turning point and whilst quite different to my normal reads, it definitely got more addictive and I didn’t want to put the book down.
A definite should read, but note Big Brother is Always Watching… 👀
