Bit too close for comfort

I don't have an Alexa and after reading this book, I definitely don't want one! The premise of this book is a bit too close for comfort and with our ever increasing reliance on technology and how we welcome it unguarded into every facet of our lives, this book certainly gives you plenty of food for thought.

The storyline has some interesting twists and turns and it is certainly a page turner.

I struggled a bit with the some of the characters and found them a bit two dimensional, particularly Nikki, who I feel needed some depth added to her character. I also felt that were some inconsistencies in parts of the storyline which detracted from the believability of it. Apart from those two points I would have happily given it 5 stars.
