Proper spooky book ! I dont use any voice controlled assistants at home or anywhere I go but his just took it to the next level. At first I was surprised how quickly the family took to Alice and let her organise and monitor everything. It left me thinking what is there for humans to do I'd computers are doing all the chores for us. The story of the family broken by a death of one of their twin girls is very moving although more attention is given to the mum , Nicky and not the dad , Ethan. As I work with children everyday is as surprised that all the psychologists are letting her use a tablet to communicate as surely now she will never want to speak again . Its easier to type and stare at screen all day.
Apart for that it's a great gripping thriller with a kind of psycho killer .
