This is an interesting read about the Rhodes’ family who have already suffered one tragedy leaving their daughter mute and soon hit trouble again when their daughter is kidnapped.
To begin with I was unsure of this book, it gripped me from the start but then the pace seemed to slow and I was a little unsure of the ‘Alice’ smart technology in the Rhodes’ house. At first I wasn’t sure who this ‘character’ was, it didn’t feel explained well and a bit far fetched. But it then seemed to pick up pace with the disappearance of their little girl Bella and I found it hard to put the book down. Overall it was a good read with a good amount of action and mystery to keep you wondering and guessing about where the story is heading.
