Was it a page-turner? Oh, absolutely. 100%! I was intrigued since the very beginning. I had so many questions that soon started getting answered, only to create even more questions. And before I knew it, I was completely invested in the life of this family, one plot twist after the other.
Did the book meet my expectations? I wasn't sure what to expect but I can safely say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I only gave it four stars out of ten because, at times, the narrative was a little too violent for my liking.
