17 Church Row was such an excellent thriller building steadily in suspense from the mystery of the prologue to the excitement of the conclusion! The novel explores issues such as Artificial Intelligence, anxiety, losing a child, and asks each reader what would you be willing to do to protect those you love?
I literally couldn't put this book down, I constantly needed to know what happened next and it was so easy to read that time flew by.
Due to the nature of the Science fiction style plot it was quite clear from the beginning what types of problems were going to occur in the household, but I still found it fun watching the story develop and I found the ending in particular truly chilling. I was fascinated by the ways in which the characters were manipulated and loved the psychological aspects of the novel. I would definitely recommend this to lovers of a good thriller!
