I got into this book quite quickly and wanted to see how the story developed as quite early on we were introduced to some interesting characters. Every now and then we were thrown into a chapter from an unknown character and that alone made me want to keep reading.
The turn that this book took was not at all what I was expecting and I didn’t think it came across as a typical thriller which really grabbed me. The twists weren’t necessarily unpredictable but they were good nevertheless.
Unfortunately, I was slightly disappointed by the ending of this book, I think after all the build up and tension I was expecting a bit more. It was still a good book, not at all what I was expecting and a great storyline.
I can safely say I’ll be sticking with the trusty Yale lock on my front door 🤓
