This book was really good. There were lots of twists and turns and it did keep you guessing. This novel was very well written. I would definitely read a book by this author again. The way the story was written really made you feel for the main character. It also made you realise just how far a mother would go to protect her child/children. This book is a really good psychological thriller but it is probably not the best if you are very squeamish as there are fingers etc being chopped off and other violent acts. These do form an important part of the story though so need to be i there. I really enjoyed this novel and would definitely read another novel by this author. This book was a very good read
