As soon as I read the first look and seen what this book was about I knew I needed it. I'm not usually one for thrillers but killer AI is certainly my weakness and I actually think it was done rather well in this book. Discussing technology and the impact it can have on our lives is something that really interests me.
This book was terrifying as well as something I could actually see happening. Its sometimes scary to think how far we have let technology go. This book does highlight our reliance on technology and the privacy and security implications a smart home could have.
I also really loved the family aspects of this book, it depicted grief very well. I really felt an emotional connection to the family. It did show that under harsh circumstances we will do anything for those we love.
