I was very excited to read this book, after having had a First Look. I have also enjoyed previous books by the author. Sad!y, this book just wasn't for me. I didn't enjoy the story, but I know that others will.
I felt that the story started well, with the first few chapters hooking me in, but then I slowly began to lose interest. I found the plot too far fetched, and I really didn't care for any of the characters, as they didn't engage me.
The idea that a computer can develop feelings and run a house was just too far fetched for me. I would have liked to have seen more insight into the daughter's relationship with her farher, plus her thoughts and feelings.
As I say, this wasn't for me. But it will be a huge success and I look forward to the next book.
