I found this book really scary, mostly because lots of it was highly believable!.
Nikki and Ethan move house to try for a fresh start after one of their twins is killed in a road accident. The house they choose is incredibly high tech, with a super state of the art security system and electronic personal assistant Alice. The house's designer architect Catriona is still highly involved, although the couple do not know this.
I don't want to spoil this for other readers, so won't go into any more plot details, but safe to say having an adaptive, thinking electronic personal assistance is not as good as you might think!
The main characters are nicely rounded, and the book moves along at a good pace.
