What a fantastic and unique thriller! Using the topic of AI as the main theme for the book really brought this book right up to date and made it feel super relevant.
I’ve personally always felt a little sceptical of how powerful AI can become so this novel played right into my deepest fears!
The prose had a great pace and I loved how the story of the family ran alongside the story of the creators and developers of the AI technology.
The twists in the story were fab and I didn’t see them coming until the very last moment! It kept me guessing as to who the mysterious ‘daughter’ character was.
I would of liked a little more back story on Alex the creator of the AI technology to fully understand his motives throughout the novel.
Overall, a really exciting and clever thriller. Would recommend to anyone who loves thriller stories and is looking for a new take on the genre.
