29 Seconds gripped me from the start as we are introduced to Sarah and her boss, Alan. The pace of the story was very fast and exciting, keeping me gripped until the end. I didn't think the twist was as big as other reviewers have suggested, however the ending is still brilliant.

I really like the way Sarah was developed throughout the book, after starting out as a defeated victim. I really felt for her having to go through what she did, especially as the scenarios and conflicts in the book happen frequently in real life.

Alan is the perfect bad guy that you love to hate, extremely sexist and manipulative. I do wonder what his wife saw in him! Perhaps she is naïve or is a victim herself.

A great fast paced book, perfect for a quick thrill! It didn't take long for me to read this at all.
