Crime/thriller novels are my absolute favourite genre to read. As I was reading the premise of this book the hairs on my arms stood on end. I knew that this was an absolute must read for me. It has left me wanting to know more about Ciara and Oliver. I liked that the chapters flip between the current day and recent history. I also really like the inclusion of current issues in the world (the pandemic). It makes the book feel real and contemporary.
