What I treat, I was unaware there was yet another book from CRH on the way until I checked in on Reader's First.

She always writes a brilliant thriller, and with this one set during the lockdown/pandemic I have hopes it will be gritty and realistic without becoming too depressing,( after all reading should be enjoyable and not a reminder of how boring life has become).

The premise seems great just from the blurb, and I love the cover.

My slight reservation is that this first look at the book seems to cover a lot of banal relationship lovey-dovey stuff when introducing the characters, but also doesn't give much away as to who's going to get it or any of the what, why, how's etc.

Fortunately the first pages of introducing the detectives, who already seem like real people, and much like her previous books, and I am very much looking forward to reading about a murder during a lockdown.
