I haven't read a covid set book yet and that part of the writing felt a bit clunky - as though ithad been added in to be different or to reflect the times rather than add anything to the story. I enjoyed theway the characters were built up and introduced. I also thought that the multiple view points and timelines were handled well and weren't at all confusing.
