Firstly, the cover really stands out to me as something I would pick up and read, as well as it being written by such a brilliant author. Catherine Ryan Howard always has me hooked with her crime fiction.

It’s interesting to have a book set during COVID lockdown and I guess that makes it relatable for everyone in that sense. I like how the author has written this book in such a gripping way, drawing you in and keeping the readers interest.

Set in Dublin, readers are introduced to Ciara and Oliver who randomly meet in a supermarket and go for coffee together. Due to Covid protocol, not long later, they move in together. But is there more to this Oliver than meets the eye? Is he really who he says he is? A lifeless body has been discovered by detectives in Oliver’s apartment. Could it be Ciara? What has happened? Telling the story in short bursts in ‘present’ time and then 56 days previous keeps you guessing what will happen next…..I want to read it NOW!
