I am so excited to read this book! I read The Nothing Man and could not put it down, so I’m very much looking forward to reading 56 Days.
The book begins with the police arriving at an upmarket apartment complex, while the residents are outside trying to find out what has happened.
The setting then moves to 56 days previously when the main characters, Ciara and Oliver first meet in a supermarket queue.
I expect that the book will continue between timelines as it progresses.
The writing style is perfect - very clearly setting the scene and building up tension sentence by sentence until you’re speed-reading to learn more!
