What a wonderful taster . Everything is so skilfully observed. I feel that I know the characters already even after a short introduction. However I suspect that maybe everyone is not as they first appear . The timid quiet girl who is unsure of herself meets the confident handsome stranger. The middle aged woman who is resident in a block of flats mainly occupied by younger residents ......... is she a pivotal character in the story ? The mismatched police pair — bit of a comedy duo maybe ( but good at their job) . I just want to read on .
