I haven’t read a book set in the pandemic and wasn’t sure I wanted to.
This is a very readable story, beginning with two young people who have a chance encounter in a supermarket. 56 days later, a body is found in a nice development of flats. What has happened?!
I flew through the extract and really want to know what happens in the story! I suspect the handsome young man isn’t all he seems and could have an ulterior motive.
So far, the fact it is set in the pandemic hasn’t bothered me as the story is so intriguing.
Keeping my fingers crossed I win a copy as I would love to read more of this story. It’s a real page turner and one where you would be totally hooked.
