The cover for this is lovely and eye-catching, and the premise sounds intriguing, but I have real reservations about the whole 'covid/lockdown' aspect. Yes, I know that art should reflect real life but this feels a bit like "How can I deliberately contrive a plot to include covid".....the murder mystery at it's heart sounds like a great plot line, but I'm not sure I'm sold on the idea of cashing in on the pandemic for a book just yet - it didn't really gel in Karin Slaughters latest so I'm not sure it will here either.
