The premise is interesting and the book is set in a world in lockdown will be fascinating to see unravel. But I wasn't totally drawn in from these first few pages. The story jumps between then and now and it's possible it will improve as the story goes on and as we know more about the characters. The cover suits the genre well but is not intriguing enough for me to pick up off the shelf though, which would be a shame if the book is as good as the synopsis suggests. Overall it's a well written and promising start.
