Perverse though it may seem I quite liked the idea of a lockdown/Covid crime. And having enjoyed Rewind and the author’s style my interest was piqued by this book. Reading the first impression hasn’t dulled that pique either! There seems to be plenty going on here with the before and after sequences. The interaction between the characters, protagonists and detectives was intriguing. So my fingers are crossed.
