A crime thriller always draws me in, and the synopsis & first look didn't disappoint!
I enjoy a good book that flashes between past and present like this one, and I already know there is going to be at least one twist that's going to make me sit either open mouthed or I told you so, and the atmosphere tense.
I like how the author has used the Covid lockdown in the plot, keeping the story in 'today's' times, and it makes for an interesting read that neither character has told anyone they are living together.
