I find it weird that we are so far into this pandemic that we can now read properly researched books with Covid-19 playing a big part of the story's plot. Ciara's not even been in Dublin for a week and she's met a man, and I can already begin to piece together where this is going to go. I'm assuming she doesn't know anyone if her family isn't there, so it's the perfect opportunity for violence to strike. They're both relatively new to town so it could go either way. but I think I'd prefer to see it go one way rather than the other.
