Judging by the cover and the description, this seems like the perfect book for someone like me who is fascinated by the idea of murder and the brains of those who perform it. The sneak peek of the story gives us an idea of the characters; The sophisticated male (often used in these types of stories as the antagonist), and the more "normal", every day Joe kind of woman. These two both seem like the perfect kind of people to get together for some kind of erotic love story and since the regular storyline for these personality types is "strangers to enemies to lovers" i am definitely interested in the completely contrasting turn this story seems to take, being "strangers to lovers to dead". I'm personally very excited to be able to read this, as it seems like such a great idea that has risen from the despairing depths of the covid plague.
