As the cover's clock hints, this murder mystery is timed to perfection. The Covid restrictions add a new dimension to plots (I wonder how they will read in, say, 10 year's time?) Catherine has a great flair for immersing you deep into the characters and the story, you can really relate to them and sympathise with them. Wonderfully descriptive, this is a book that you will not want to put down until you have followed all the twists and turns. I've never read any of her earlier books, but will do so now!
