FINALLY! A book set in our time. Kind of. This tale is set during the very first COVID 19 lockdown. But in Dublin.
Like many others, it was the first covid/ lockdown set book I havr ever read.
What starts off as a love story between Ciara and oliver after they meet in a little supermarket and start dating just before lockdown (been there!)
Ciara moves in with Olivet rather quickly- And loves with him for the alleged 2 wewk lockdown. Keeping it hush hush.
After this, there ends up being a discovery of a decomposing body. But no one knows who it is!
The police/ Garda start to investigate. Turning the story into a real deep mystery.
The characters were really well written and rather likeable.
This is my first book by this author. But certainly is not my last. There is a distinct and interesting writinf style here that really grabs me aand holds me captive.
