This book is brilliant! Right from the start it had me hooked! It was one of those books that made me think the housework can wait as I just had to know what was going to happen next! I just knew there was something not quite right about Oliver and Ciara came across as a little bit naive to begin with. I thought Laura might be an ex girlfriend of Oliver's hell-bent on revenge butI couldn't have been more wrong about that! Everytime I thought I had the plot figured out along came another twist to make me change my mind and I certainly didn't see the final twist coming.
I loved the chemistry between the detectives Lee and Karl and I wondered if there had been history between them at some point, I hope that sometime in the future Catherine Ryan Howard the author writes another book or even a series of books featuring those two.
I certainly will be looking out for more books by this author.
