I really was intrigued by the idea of this book. It is a story within a film script within a book. You must read this as either a physical or ebook as parts of the story is written as filmscript which unless done well could be confusing on audio.
The story, despite the concept, is easy to follow and draws you in quickly. Also because the main story is reflected in the film script you get a foreshadowing of events which surprisingly helps to add to the tension rather than spoil the surprise. There are some twists and turns but if I am honest I was not surprised by then ending. It is a quick read, made quicker by the inclusion of the script. The main character is slightly unreliable which can for some be an annoyance, I did not mind her but at the same time can not say that I liked her. I have enjoyed both the Catherine Ryan Howard books that I have read and I will be reading more.
