Firstly let me say how much I love Catherine Ryan Howard. She is one of the best thriller writers around at the moment. Greenwich Park is superb.

56 days starts really well. Set in our brave new covid world the duel timeline of before/during lockdown and after keeps the reader guessing right up until the end. Having Oliver and Ciara take turns to narrate also added to the drama although it did mean I had to concentrate more.

Oliver and Ciara are thrown together as lockdown kicks in. It's a very new relationship and neither knows much about the other. Is there more to them being together than there appears? We are fed just enough information to stop us working it all out (well I was anyway). The characters are well written and relatable. The downnfall for me was that it just felt a bit flat at the end. The big reveal was a bit of a let down. Apart from that though I really did enjoy the ride!
