I adored the nothing man so the bar was high for this book. Added to that I had mixed feelings about reading a book about the lockdown. However the synopsis sounded so gripping.

I was totally wrong about the kind of murder that would be encountered. And the reality was something so much better than I could have hoped for.

A brilliant web of twists and turns that keep you guessing. When you think the story can’t get any murkier it, it does!

Writing about lockdown was integral to the story and so worked well, but also was a poignant reminder of this event.

The story makes us question what it is to be good or bad, whether people can change, whether we can ever know people and what we are capable of when really tested!

The characters are so believable and I loved how the storyline looped back to show you a different perspective. The addition of Karl was brilliant in offering some light relief to this gripping thriller!
