This is one of the best thrillers I have read for a long time. Initially I was sceptical about a book set in the covid pandemic, it seemed a little too close to home. However this book uses the lockdown as a perfect backdrop for a thriller that twists and turns at every page.
I can’t say too much without spoiling the plot, however the story follows Oliver and Ciara, a couple that have just started dating when lockdown is imposed. The couple decide to move in together. The problem is how well can you really know someone you have only just met!
Ryan Howard has managed to create a brilliant story that grabs and hooks you from the first page. The characters are complex and keep the reader guessing throughout. I will be recommending this book to all my friends and reading her back catalogue too!
