My first thought starting this was "do i want to read a book set in the pandemic and will it work". I've loved the authors previous work so I was intrigued to see if this would be as good.
And I think it could be my favourite one of hers yet!
The setting was so relatable and it took me back to the dark days of lockdown ( don't read this if you don't want to be reminded of those days). Told from 2 Pov we get to se how both genders dealt with lockdown and relatable issues such as shopping and face masks !
The story itself was her usual page turner of a read with twists and turns along the way . I loved seeing both characters develop throughout and though some may think the blurb sounds a bit unrealistic it just worked really well. Infact i would love to see this adapted for the screen either as a film or a series.
Definitely recommend to those who like a page turner .
