I really enjoyed reading this book! At first I wasn't sure that I wanted to read something set in Covid times, because it is nice to escape from reality when reading, but actually it was quite refreshing to read something current and see how the characters dealt with things like wiping the shopping down and deciding whether to wear face coverings or not! I found the story really intriguing as you don't know who has died at the start and more details about what has happened are revealed. I also liked how the book time hops and how you hear from the perspective of both of the main characters. I think this story can get you thinking about what humans are really capable of (and not necessarily in a good way!) if they find themselves in certain circumstances. The book kept me guessing too! I enjoy most books by this author and was certainly not disappointed with this one!
