This is another book by the author of The Nothing Man. This too does not disappoint and is compulsive reading until the end.
Ciara and Oliver meet just before lock down starts in Dublin.
In order to give their short lived romance a chance, they move in together during lock down.
As you can imagine all is not what is seems and in 56 days a body will be found in the apartment they were living in.
Told at different days during the lockdown it flits from the past to the present but you are able to follow it well.
It is also told via the viewpoint of the different characters.
This book is well plotted and you just want to keep reading to see what happens. the fact that it was written in lockdown shows the isolation felt at this time.
The characters are complex and well described.
This book is an example of a cleverly written modern thriller and this author has lots more books to come.
