I was really looking forward to reading this book as I enjoyed 'rewind' and 'the nothing man'. The book certainly didn't disappoint and once I started I couldn't put it down. It's really up to date as it's set in the first lockdown of the covid pandemic. I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to read a book about this as it's still going on but it's such a good story and so cleverly written. Like with rewind we know from the start that a body has been discovered then the story goes back and forward in time and from different characters points of views and the truth gradually unfolds. The reader is kept guessing right up to the end and there are plenty of clever twists and turns. Aswell as the 2 main characters we also get the perspective of the investigating police officers. I will definitely look out for more books by Catherine Ryan Howard as I have thoroughly enjoyed the 3 I have read.
