No one knew they'd moved in together. Now one of them is dead. Could this be the perfect murder?

This was my first 'current period' book which deals with Covid. Not directly, I don't think I could deal with that! It dealt with lockdown sensitively, it didn't seem forced and didn't distract.

The story unfolded as the relationship of Oliver and Ciara develops, with chapters moving from past to present. With them meeting in tesco's and going for a drink, moving in together due to lockdown. Oliver having a lovely work rented flat, while Ciara has a pokey little flat. To the police finding a decomposing body in a flat. No-one saw anything, seems lockdown is the perfect setting for murder. I didn't see the twists coming, it was a pageturner for me, keeping me gripped and it was paced well. It was my first Catherine Howard, I'll be reading more.
