I was quite sceptical to read a book that revolves around the Coronavirus pandemic, as, you know, it still is not really finished. .
But, I was pleasantly surprised by this, and, although it was a little hard to get into, I enjoyed it thoroughly!!
The characters are likeable, notwithstanding, their situation (knowing eachother a week before moving in together) seems a little unrelatable, or unrealistic, but I understand that some people perhaps did experience this in 2020.
Furthermore, the murder just augments this strange, exciting, fever-dreamish, book. Admittedly, it was well-written, not necessarily my taste in style, though.
Throughout it, the tone is redolent of "The Silent Patient" (great book), just dialed down multiple degrees.
Ending left me speechless, and shocked. And nice, relatively quick read for a rainy weekend.
