I could not put this book down from the moment I started and ended up finishing it in 2 days! I loved the multiples timelines seen throughout the novel giving a deeper insight into each perspective and was pleasantly surprised when Oliver's point of view was introduced! Jumping between times also increased the suspense for what we may have missed from the others viewpoint making me even more intrigued for what may happen. I loved how although this was set in last years lockdown, the references to what happened all felt relevant and necessary for the story as well as creating sympathy for Ciara as we have felt her panic and frustration before. I enjoyed the twists towards the end leaving me shocked by what had been revealed and making me pause to think about what I had previously read! I also enjoyed the relationship between the two detectives throughout and seeing them come to their conclusions and so overall this was a good crime novel I thoroughly enjoyed!
