I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. Having lived through 2020 lockdowns I thought that reading a book that featured it would be a boiling recollection of doing nothing! Little did I know the plot and storyline would totally make up for it.
As someone who typically likes a good murder or romance book this is just the ticket. It felt like I couldn’t put it down. I am absolutely hooked.
The characters are totally relatable as we all know a ciara, an Oliver and a Lee. The setting is described so well I feel like I can picture where they are in even scene.
And I like the use of the Guardì as it just adds in elements of culture that often books miss out. Adds to the uniqueness and is just a great read.
It has the right pace, good story, gripping and great relatable characters. Exactly what I’m looking for in a book. Cannot rate it high enough
